Welcome to the 51st Annual
Sidney Oktoberfest
October 3–5, 2025
Celebrate Sidney’s vibrant community spirit at our beloved Oktoberfest, returning to the Cheyenne County Fairgrounds and downtown Sidney this first full weekend in October. This family-friendly festival blends the warmth of Midwest hospitality with the festive flair of a German and Scottish tradition—complete with keg tapping, a lively beer garden, bagpipes, delicious ethnic fare, and non‑stop entertainment.
Join us for three unforgettable days:
Friday (Oct 3): Opening ceremony and continuous live music noon–midnight in the Oktoberfest Tent
Saturday (Oct 4): 7:30 AM 5K run, 10 AM parade downtown, Cruisin’ Classic Car Show, and evening band at the tent
Sunday (Oct 5): Farmer’s market, crafts, and the adorable Wiener Dog Races at 1 PM
Expect over 20 food booths, arts & crafts, a farmers market, live bands, school group performances, games, horseshoe tournaments, and more, welcoming approximately 7,000 attendees.
Why Sidney Oktoberfest Matters
For more than half a century, Oktoberfest has been a cornerstone of Sidney culture—a celebration that boosts our local economy, draws visitors from across the region, and strengthens community ties. Every dollar of revenue goes back into producing the event, covering essentials like beer, tents, entertainment, staging, and more.
Join the Fun (And Help Keep It Going!)
Our small but mighty volunteer committee is the heart of the event, meeting monthly (moving to weekly in September) to ensure everything runs smoothly—though more hands are always welcome . Together, we can preserve this legacy and keep Sidney’s Oktoberfest going strong. Join the Fun:
